Update: Back Online

A couple of days ago our factory finally had its power restored, and so we have been able to return to work and manufacturing has restarted.

Our thanks to the hard-working and over-worked people at the electricity companies in this area. The power came back faster than we anticipated, which has been great for our timetables as we have many orders to fill.

Our workers are back in the factory. Sadly, with one fewer who lost most of his possessions in the floodwaters and has decided to restart in another city. We’ll be looking out for a new recruit to fill his position.

As the waters have receded, the damage to Lismore has been laid bare. It’s bad. Approximately two out of every three buildings needs to be demolished or rebuilt. But, with people pitching in and cleaning up and restarting their lives once more, life is slowly returning to the town. We’re here, and we’ll keep contributing to our hometown as best we can. Residents are still appealing to the state and federal governments for help, and we lend our voice to those appeals. Hopefully, some of that much-needed help — not just monetary, but in many facets — starts to trickle in.
